Fuel Tax (2019)

On April 1st, 2019 the federal fuel charge (ie. Carbon Tax) will come into effect in the province of Ontario. This will be reflected on your individual delivery tickets as a tax line item.

UPI Energy FS cannot assist in determining exemptions for business, this information is best sought through your business/accounting management or the Government of Canada websites listed above.

Exemption forms are due to UPI Energy FS by March 29th to avoid fuel charge. We will NOT deliver Tax-Exempt fuel without a signed form on file. Forms will be accepted after April 1st but taxes previously incurred due to late submission cannot be reimbursed by UPI Energy FS.
